The lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken was delicious as was the gravy made from scratch! Loved the sides. Tiramisu and rice pudding were the perfect two desserts to keep everyone happy! “ The food was great, flavourful and we ate everything off the plates. The food came very quickly after ordering as there were a few people making the food. They were friendly and gave information about the food and told us which dishes were spicy. The only issue was the fire alarm going off in the middle of eating and it was so loud but he turned it off as quickly as possible. ”
“ Levantino is a hidden gem in Withington owned by the ever so friendly Chef Ali. What an experience we have had today from start to finish, we felt like we dined with the chef! Chef Ali is extremely passionate about ingredients and this is delivered through the high standard and quality of his food. At the beginning he goes through the menu with you and gives you his recommendations. We mainly came here to sample halal authentic Italian food ( which in itself is so rare to find! ) however we ended up trying a variety of food including arabic delights; from cold mezze, chicken shawarma ( the most succulent juicy chicken we have ever tasted) and finishing on the italian side with pasta ( customised to our liking and so delicious) and the most amazing pizza I have ever had, tasted exactly like a neapolitan pizza - it was devine you felt you had dined in Naples. Oh and the tiramisu and rice pudding are 10/10! Thank you so much to Chef Ali and Chef Abdul for their hard work and their delicious food. We will be back again! Give this place a try, you won't regret it. ”
“ ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PLACE!!!! I didn’t think this was going to be a proper restaurant, boy I was wrong. I had some of the best pizza I’ve had here, cheesy, fresh and tasty. The lasagne was unreal and the coffee was incredible. To top it off I had the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Don’t let the front put you off, this is an incredible place. Ali (the owner) was lovely and gave excellent service. This wasn’t food, it was an experience. ”
